Ancon MBT Headed Anchor

The Ancon MBT Headed Anchor provides dead-end embedment in concrete, eliminating the need for hooked bars and reducing congestion. It consists of half an MBT coupler with a welded plate that bears the full tension load of the bar against the concrete. The plate features a hole for bars to pass through or terminate in the coupler.

Requiring no special bar end preparation, MBT Headed Anchors comply with AS 3600:2018 clause 13.1.4, reducing the development length of the reinforcing bar to 6 times the bar diameter for all sizes.
