Ancon BT Weldable Couplers provide a convenient way to connect reinforcing bars to structural steel plates or sections. One end has a BT thread form for the reinforcing bar, while the other end is prepared for welding to steel. Designers must determine the load connections, type and size of weld, and appropriate electrode, considering site conditions. Qualified welders are required for the specific weld type.
