Ancon BT – Type A Threading

Ancon’s BT couplers produce a full strength joint yet they are among the smallest in the Ancon range, bestsuited to large scale projects requiring a high volume of couplers.

The Type A coupler is used for applications where the continuation bar can be rotated. The ends of the bars are upset and threaded for half the length of the coupler.

The Type A connection uses internally threaded couplers with a single right-hand thread, ideal for applications where the continuation bar can be rotated. The bar ends are upset and threaded for half the length of the coupler, ensuring a strong and reliable joint.
