Ancon KSN Anchors

Ancon KSN Anchors, used with BT threaded reinforcing bars, simplify concrete design at construction joints, especially in wall-to-slab applications. Cast into the concrete wall face, the anchor allows for easy installation by screwing in the reinforcing bar after removing the formwork and thread protection. This system eliminates the need for drilling formwork or concrete and removes the hazards of projecting bars and on-site bar straightening.

Replacing cogged or hooked bar ends, KSN Anchors simplify bar scheduling and reduce congestion in the wall. They are independently tested for enhanced performance in moment connections and can be used in various applications requiring a cast-in threaded insert.

The KSN Anchor is machined from high-reliability, hot-forged Cr-Mo alloy steel with a minimum 15% elongation, meeting AS3600 standards.

The KSN Anchor is to be used in conjunction with Ancon BT Starter Bars and may require individual nailing plates.
